HTML Reference Library v2.2
Description: The HTML (hypertext markup language) used for creating World Wide Web pages has been a moving target for many months, as various Web browsers and servers added non-standard extensions to the language. This free HTML Reference Library attempts to help you sort out the variations, in addition to providing easy lookup of HTML standard tags. In Windows HLP file format, you can learn what's new from Netscape Navigator 2.0 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0. It's well laid-out, with a fast-access alphabetized quick reference guide, and cross-references between various HTML topics. Veterans and beginners alike will find excellent help here.
Requires Windows 3.1x.

HTML Reference Library v2.2 (32-bit)
Description: The HTML Reference Library uses the Windows Help file format to thoroughly document the language used to create World Wide Web pages, including nonstandard extensions to the language used by various browsers and servers. In addition to definitions, helpful example usage is included, along with quick reference tools. This latest version adds new, proprietary tags, mostly used by Internet Explorer, and continues to provide easy lookup of HTML standard tags. A helpful table is included to indicate which tags are supported by Netscape, Explorer, and Mosaic to assist in your design process and accommodation of those three browsers' capabilities. New to the package is the Colour Wizard, a handy program that interactively allows you to view the effect of changing the color scheme and supports all 140 Netscape color names. Once selected, the color code can be copied to the Windows Clipboard to be inserted into your project. This reference library is free to individuals, but corporate users are urged to make a payment to the author.
Requires: Windows 95.

Only Web Publishing Tutorial You'll Ever Need
The Only Web Publishing Tutorial You'll Ever Need is a good introduction to World Wide Web publishing and HTML markup. Designed for the novice, it includes a brief overview of the Internet, lists and demonstrates basic HTML tags, covers various design considerations, and even presents examples of poor design. Adding images, links, lists, and color to home pages is also covered. The author writes in a chatty, informal style; avoids unnecessary technical jargon; and presents plenty of examples for each topic. If you're thinking of putting a home page on the Web, you'll find this program quite helpful. Registration brings free graphics to use on your Web pages, expanded information on the latest HTML specifications, a file of links to get even more information, information on using Java scripts in your HTML files, and printing capability. This update adds more information, particularly on frames, tables, and forms (although the information in the unregistered version is truncated), and more graphics.
Requires DOS 3.3.
